Future Construction Schedule

The Future Construction Schedule for the Atlas Red Sands Solar Project is designed to keep community members informed about how this 400-acre renewable energy facility will be built over time. The project will include the installation of approximately 130,000 solar panels, 40 battery energy storage system (BESS) units, and a new substation to support reliable power delivery.

Construction will take place in clearly defined phases—beginning with site preparation, followed by equipment installation, and concluding with testing and final commissioning—so that progress can be managed efficiently and transparently.

Throughout each stage, updates will be shared to help neighbors understand what activities are occurring, what to expect in terms of timing and on-site work, and how the project team is working to minimize disruptions while maintaining safety and environmental responsibility.

Community Involvement

The Red Sands Solar Project will bring clean energy, local jobs, and environmental benefits to our community. Community input is key, so residents are encouraged to stay informed, attend meetings, and share feedback to help shape the project’s future.
